Ruth Slenczynska inherited the music of the 19th century from musicians like Rachmaninoff, Schnabel, Backhaus and Cortot, contributed to the evolution of the piano art in 20th century, and now, with the latest recording of Brahms' 30 piano pieces, she raises the question to all of us: "What is the real value of piano music to people livin in the 21st century?"
